[Circle lens review] Geo 3 tone green

Hayyylo!

Today's post will be on a circle lens review. I've reviewed several lenses from Geo's "World series" so far, and I'll be talking about the green version! Hip, hip, hooray! This review is sponsored by Geocolouredlenses.

If you're not familiar with this particular line yet, here's a picture of them. They've got lots of different names, such as Berry Cessy or simply "tri tone". The universal code name for this particular lens is CM-903.

Gray, brown, green, blue, violet

Description

Here's a quick description of these lenses:

Brand: Geo Medical
Base curve: 8.6 mm
Diameter: 14.0mm (Some stores list these as 14.2)
Life: 1 year (I don't recommend using lenses for 3+ months)
Colour: Green
Water content: 38%
Made in Korea

Colours available (5): Blue, brown, gray, green, violet
Price: Currently $22.03 [here]

Design

I've definitely said this so many times now, haha. The Geo 3 tones are one of my favourite lines (next to the Neo Glamours), because they're small in diameter, comfortable and pretty natural looking!

As for the green colour - I don't mind green lenses. I've only had 1 other green lens before (my green Glamours), and it looked fine to me. I think they look really natural on brown eyes, but still give that pretty hint of colour.

It starts (outside to in) with a small black limbal ring, then to a leafy green colour, finishing off with a pretty yellow. The colours blend nicely together, so it looks like a very natural lens.

My thoughts

First off - the service at Geocolouredlenses was good. The package arrived within 2 weeks, which is completely fair. A lens case, Geo circle lens manual, and even a Geocolouredlenses business card were included. I don't have anything to complain about their service.

Humm! I thought these lenses would give off a browny-green colour like the Glamour greens, but it turns out they're more vibrant than those! While still not "omg this is so vibrant", they certainly cover the brown on my eyes and change it up. They don't look too "brownish", but they're still very very natural. I don't mind the lenses at all; in fact, I actually think these are pretty nice looking

Comfort wise - they're the same as the other World lenses I've tried. Very comfortable, with minimal irritation. I start to feel dry after a good several hours, which is okay. I don't really like wearing any lenses for a long time anyways.

I like the design, comfort and the fact that they look really natural. Even though this is only my 2nd pair of greens, I think it's pretty safe to say that these would be one of my favourite green lenses!

You'd like these lenses if you're looking for a natural lens with a bit of colour, nothing too overboard. These lenses offer very little (if any) enlargement. So if you're specifically looking for a big lens, stay away - this really isn't what you're looking for!

[Circle lens review] Neo Glamour Brown

Heyo!

Today's post will be on a circle lens! Y'all know how much I love the Neo Glamours - and today's post will be on the Neo Glamour Browns. I like natural looks, so yay brown! Thanks, Eyecandys~

I got another monkey case!
(Same picture used in Hazel review, wasn't necessary to take an identical one, y'know?)

Description

Here’s some more information about these lenses!

Name: Glamour Brown
Brand: Neo Vision
Origin: South Korea
Water content: 45%
Diameter: 14.2mm
Base curve: 8.6
Life: 1 year (I do not recommended using any lenses for 3+ months)

Colours available (8): hazel, brown, honey, gray, green, blue, aqua, violet

Price: Currently $29.60 [here]

Design

The design is super pretty, as all Neo Glamours are. They're 3 toned, so the colours blend nicely together and give a natural, pretty look.

This lens does have a pretty unique, interesting design. Instead of having a solid limbal ring like most circle lenses, they have jagged edges! These lines do look a lot more natural than a normal, solid limbal ring would.

These lenses start (outside to in) by a thin, black limbal ring and changes to a warm brown colour, finishing off with a orangey yellow.

Pictures

The picture below shows me wearing the lenses in different lightings; the first is in flash, then window light, and the last one indoor.

I thought I'd have pictures here comparing the Glamour browns to the Glamour hazels. Before I had either lens, I was debating on getting either the Brown or the Hazel. On the site pictures, it was difficult to tell the difference between the two.

NOTE: I haven't posted the review for the Hazels just yet - it'll be posted next.
Eyeballs, yay! (Left-brown, Right-hazel)

My thoughts

I do really, really like this colour - the Glamour browns are pretty. I do think they're a bit too reddish for me. The hazels were super, vampy red; but the browns also have a tinge of red as well. However, I do like these better than the hazels (because they're more natural compared to them).

These lenses have a brown colour up close - but from further away, it really does have a hint of red that you can't miss. As pretty as it is, it's not natural enough for me to wear comfortably in public. Please take a look at the pictures on the bottom to see what I mean. (Again, I think I look like a vampire.)

I'll happily wear these for a specific FOTD or for a post, though! The colour shows up very clearly, which I like! But for real-life wear? Hmm... maybe not.

Also... the comfort level on this particular lens seems to be different from my other Glamours. I have no idea why, but these aren't as comfy as my other ones. I can get maybe 3-4 hours in, before my eyes start feeling really dry. Sadly, this lens doesn't pass the comfort test! T___T

As always, these lenses really aren't meant for enlargement. They offer very little (if any) - so if you're specifically looking for a "big eyed" effect, these won't be a good choice!

= I like the lenses, but they're not as natural or comfortable as I'd like them to be. Sorry, Glamour Browns... but I probably won't be repurchasing you. T__T

So that's it for today!

What about you?
Do you like the colour of these? Do you like the "vampire" eye colour?

Question: My Korean cosmetic reviews seem to be much popular than my circle lens reviews (though quite a few people still read/comment on lens reviews as well).

But I was just curious - do you guys want me to continue reviewing lenses? Or should I completely stop lens reviews and focus on cosmetics?

(If its decided not to post more lens reviews, I'll just post the remaining lens reviews I have and stop receiving new lenses for review).

[Circle lens review] Geo 3 tone brown!

Hey guys!
I'm back with another review, this time on a circle lens pair!

I purchased the "Geo 3 tone brown" from circlelens.com a few months ago for $17.50. I mentioned these in a post a couple of days ago - this series is my absolute favourite! The colours in this line are super pretty, and even though I'm a brown lens kind of girl, I'd even try this in violet!

Description and information

Brand: Geo Medical
Base curve: 8.6 mm
Diameter: 14.2 mm
Life: 12 months
Colour: 3 toned
Water content: 38%
Made in Korea

"World Series is the tri color lens that blends shades of different color and the brown in the middle in order to imitate the natural eye color. The printing also blends in the natural eye color, resulting in not too vibrant, but definitely noticeable, even from afar. World Brown is recommended for people who want to change the color of their eyes, but do not want any enlargement effect."
- Circlelens.com

This line goes by several different names:

- Berry Cessy
- World series
- Geo 3 tones
- The "official name" for these lenses are CM90_. (There's a different number at the end for each colour.)

My favourite colour has got to be brown (for now), it looks really nice in the shop photos! They're 3 toned, so it'll blend quite nicely with your real eye colour. I personally think these are the prettiest lenses I've seen so far, but I'm just an overall fan of 3 tones aha.

Anyways, I was really nervous when I saw them in person though - the colour doesn't look brown, but it looks orange-y. Definitely not what I had imagined, so I was pretty much sure that I'd have to toss these.
